Create a Rock Garden for your Living Room - A rock garden design is the centerpiece of a living room. Creating a rock garden takes time and much planning. It is recommended that you call in a professional florist, landscaper or contractor that has the background, references, (check references on all designers, contractors, landscapers) doing work in and outdoors on your home. If you are not sure, check the BBB.gov and have them run a background check with their business. I strongly recommend that you do not hire anyone without experience to create your rock garden. It takes a professional designer to make the plans and lay out the proper materials. It can be very costly to you if this installation of a rock garden is not done properly. For an added touch to your rock garden, install a fountain, (see our fountains in the garden dept) and add tiny goldfish to your display for that extra touch. Rock gardens can also change with the seasons. Add dried autumn leaves during the fall and touches of artifical snow during the holidays. Blooming plants of tulips during the Easter Season and red roses inserted during Valentine's Day. A nice idea is to use your rock garden for the background of your child's photograph. This makes an excellent background for any photograph taken in the home. As time goes on, keep changing your rock garden and improve it as the days and months go by, and this masterpiece can last for many years to come in your home.
